“There’s a snake in the kitchen and I’m trying to feed our baby.”

Saw a snake while opening the door of a house. Brother, I was about to beat feet 🏃🏾‍♂️

Took a moment to look and saw green stripes down the back. These snakes were regular visitors at our house in Iowa.

One day I received a call from my wife. She said, “Are you busy?”

No, on lunch break.

“There’s a snake in the kitchen and I’m trying to feed our baby.”

On my way.

Got home and found a snake crawling around in the kitchen. Noticed it had green stripes on its back.

Oh – it’s harmless. They eat bugs.

My wife said, “It snapped at me!”

Had to take the fella out. Poor guy.

Fast forward to today. Good thing the clients haven’t arrived. Otherwise they would’ve seen my right leg lift up, about to high step it outta here.
